ERYX PU02: Shaped by Fire

PU02 brings together two finishes that make every knife slightly different: a hand-fire-finished copper damascus blade and a frost-textured anodized titanium handle.

The blue and violet palette gives the design its identity, while the naturally varying patterns across the blade and handle give each individual PU02 its own appearance.

Hand-Finished Copper Damascus

The copper damascus blade is defined by its layered, wavelike grain. Hand-fire finishing brings blue, violet, copper, and magenta tones across the surface while keeping the underlying damascus pattern clearly visible.

Because the grain and fire-finished coloration vary from blade to blade, each PU02 develops a different pattern and distribution of color.

Placed side by side, those differences are easy to see. Some blades show tighter, more concentrated lines, while others develop broader flowing patterns. The result is variation that comes directly from the material and finishing process rather than from a printed or repeated surface design.

Frost-Textured Titanium

The handle is made from 6AL4V titanium and finished with a frost-textured anodized surface. Its fine, irregular texture creates the speckled blue-violet appearance that distinguishes PU02 from a conventional smooth anodized titanium handle.

The texture also varies from piece to piece. Just as the damascus pattern differs across the blades, each handle carries its own distribution of color and surface detail.

Together, these variations mean that two PU02 knives can share the same materials, construction, and design while still looking noticeably different when placed next to each other.

Built for the Details

PU02 uses a ceramic frame lock and supports both flipper and thumb-stud deployment. A matching 6AL4V titanium pocket clip completes the construction without introducing another material or finish into the design.

But what defines PU02 is ultimately visible on its surface: the knife follows one design, while the blade and handle make each piece individually its own.
